I'm thinking about it.  Trying to see if I can get the three days free that I'll need to do it.  With three bricks, I've done my share to help Max's cash flow and I'd like to meet some of the folks I've corresponded with over the years.

On the other hand, riding through Connecticut and eastern Massachusetts on a Saturday in the middle of July is not anywhere on my list of enjoyable things to do.  Besides teaching patience, road rage control and building up the muscles in my left forearm, about all it's good for is seeing how well the bike's cooling system and fan are operating.

True. The best part of the ride is from the NY store to the NH store. For the rest you're pretty much consigned to the slab (or at least I am, since I'm starting and finishing in Rockland County, NY. But it'll be fun if it's any kind of an event at the stores. Or if it means seeing more BMWs than Harley's on the highway between stores.

I was looking at going from Troy to the CT stores.  Some decent roads through the Berkshires.  But getting up to NH looks like all slab, and even that will suck.  Was hoping to end in NH and then do a ride back through VT to Lake George.

I'm planning an early morning blast up the NYS Thruway from home to Troy, NY. Then Troy to NH to South Windsor, CT to Brookfield, CT to home. About 600 miles.

Troy NY to Manchester NH is mostly rural 2 lane, that'll be the most enjoyable part of the ride. The rest I'll just grind out. But I'll get a t-shirt!
